Listen to the somber lessons of a retired CIA analyst and scholar who's written three books exposing the clandestine operations of the CIA since 1953. Chalmers Johnson is extremely credible and informative as he details several topics from his Book "Nemesis: The Last Days of the American Empire."
On a recent interview with Amy Goodman of DemocracyNow, she sounded uncharacteristically impassioned or engaged when talking to Chalmers. For the complete interview please go to the website. I've only heard Amy display emotions twice since watching DN a few years ago. Once was her only smile and laughter while interviewing Studz Turkle, the other was her interview today where she looked alarmed. Otherwise she always takes the neutral-ground and shows no emotion while reporting the news. Our Main Stream Media Actors could learn a lesson on how to behave.
Chalmers is not very optimistic about the future except to say that if we can break the grip of media censorship and control, there is a chance we can save the Republic before it turns into a dictatorship or empire. I'd listen and act if I were you.

Thanks for doing your part to break the grip, etc. This is a few years old, you may have seen it, but just in case:
